Congrats RBRP! We are The Most Active Vampire Roleplay Forum in the World! We couldn’t do it without you guys!


Welcome to RavenBlack Roleplay! On this site you will find roleplay, in many its forms, based on the game, RavenBlack Vampires! A Dark Alleyway.

We ask you to take the time to read over the rules of RBRP before posting, so you can avoid being given any warnings.

Are you new to the game? Then stop by Born Into The Darkness first. BiD is where you will be able to create your character. Don't forget to add us to your favourites.

Wondering what else there is? Roleplay! Your character is in a massive vampire story and RBRP provides you with the opportunity to make new friends and enemies, and even start your own bloodline.

Primary Rules

  • NO out of character (OOC) insults.
  • NO Content that is not PG13 Appropriate
  • NO IC/OOC Crossing
  • Limit Power Playing to the power of your character in game.
    The guidelines are as follows:

  • 1000 Character Minimum in IC Boards *500 Character minimum in BiD and The Silent Entryway*
  • Post in the Correct Areas
  • Limit Signature sizes to a max of 300 pixels high and 600 pixels wide
  • Donating can be done by going to the Game OOC
  • Display In Game Names (IGN) in your signatures or Personal Text
  • Display your In Game Statistics (IGS) in your signatures or Personal Text
  • 1 IGN per Member account. NPC's are acceptable
  • No Spamming
  • No giving out biter links to those you have not sired in roleplay
  • A. You must have 7 powers, 500 BP, and be active on the site to sire in BiD.
  • B. An eligible sire can only participate in three threads at one time.
  • Do not create more than one siring thread without having closed the first one.
  • The Stranger Things Can Happen board is for alternate storylines only.
  • The Silent Gateway is for humans and vampires to RP outside of siring threads.

Joining the Game

Before you start playing the game, you will need a sire.

You arrive in RavenBlack City a human (in some cases a werewolf, or some other kind of race of creature). You find yourself within this strange city, and something just doesn’t seem right. You feel as though everyone who looks at you is sizing you up for a pig roast – or a funeral suit.

When you arrive in the city you either arrive with the intentions of wanting to become a vampire, or without the knowledge that vampires really exist – and, in fact, flourish here. In some cases, you may have previous knowledge of vampires’ existence, but not usually. But no matter which you choose, you’ll need to roleplay it.

If you’re new to roleplay and aren’t quite sure what it is or how to do it, don’t worry, it’s easy to understand. You create a character, and you act out the part of your character, doing what he or she would do in a given situation. You become part of storylines with other characters, who are played by other people on the forum, and you interact together to create a roleplay.

Remember, you aren’t a vampire yet – you’ll need to attract one of those to be turned. Click here to create a thread on The Entryway board, where all humans go to be sired. Name your thread whatever you want, and simply describe your human character entering the city.

If all goes well, a vampire will begin to roleplay with you in your thread, and offer to turn you. When you accept their offer they will send you what is known as a “biter link” through a private message here on the forum. By clicking the biter link you are able to start playing the game, and become a newborn vampire.
