As with most games swearing is not allowed and Vampires! The Dark Alleyway game is no different. In game you can talk to other vampire by many means but offending words are replaced with others which are less offending. The list is as follows:
f*ck = shucks
nuts = spit
Ass = donkey
c*nt = bint
pregnant dog = witch
thingy = sock
A friendly example would be.
“You pregnant dog why are you such an ass to me?”
What will be seen by you and the other player once the message is sent will be as follows.
“You witch why are you such a donkey to me?”
If you use the game chat rooms you may wish to keep this in mind.[/b]

Excessive profanity, even in the x-rated chat rooms, will be moderated. Mild swearing in appropriate context will be ignored.
Why is this behavior moderated?
Well, for some, it is considered offensive. But do keep in mind that just because this is something that is generally overlooked if used in appropriate contexts, that doesn't give a person a reason to use obscenities as every other word in their sentences. Nobody likes a potty-mouth. You can be kicked or even banned from the rooms for this one.
