IG powers and blood ranks[/color][/font]
In-game you have the ability to earn powers and blood ranks. These powers and blood ranks help to determine a character's strength IG but are not the sole factors. Here at RBRP we have a small system which helps members determine the level of power their character has. Note that this is only a quick reference to help prevent godmoding/powerplaying.
Powers give certain advantages IG as well as in role play so earning them quickly is the best way to develop your characters strengths. Powers can be used IG to help with gaining wealth through other vampires as well as earning more from biting NPC humans. They can also be translated into writing and used in many imaginative ways.
A balance between IG powers, blood rank, and writing ability is often needed for characters on RBRP and we hope that this simple system will help members maintain that balance.
For powers you get 1 for every 1 power you have, not counting Neutrality or Battlecloak as a power. You can earn a maximum of 3 points for every power, 1 point for each of the levels available per power listed below. If you have all the powers, it is 29 points.
The powers without different power levels are each worth 2 points.
As you vampire grows so does their blood ranks. Each rank gives certain advantages as well as disadvantages when it comes to moving and fighting IG. Here at RBRP members should display which blood rank they are currently at; we understand that the blood ranks fluctuate often so we ask members to keep a close eye on their blood rank and update their details on the site when possible.
