Primary and Secondary Rulesof RavenBlack Roleplay [Condensed] See below for the full versionPRIMARY RULES Primary rules are the hard lines that cannot be broken in any manner. If any of the primary rules are broken, the members involved will receive an automatic strike. - 01. No OOC (Out of Character/Real Life) Insults
A simple rule, but be mindful of it. If it is broken twice then you are subject to being banned. This applies to both forum members as well as staff. Everyone deserves equal respect, so please give the respect you would like to receive. [/li][li]02. Explicit Content RBRP operates with a PG-13 rating. References to sex and violence should be subtle and without great detail. Implied activities are acceptable so long as they remain implied. Drug use and excessive alcoholism is not allowed and will result in a thread being moved so that it may be reviewed by staff. Going into gory, graphic and intimate detail will also result in a threat being moved and reviewed. Decisions on whether or not a thread breaks PG-13 is ultimately left the staff. If you have any doubts please ask the staff first, and they will be more than happy to help you. Breaking this rule will result in an automatic strike. Arguing with the staff about their decision will result in a warning, and continuing such arguments will result in another strike. Use your head while posting - if it’s not stated in the full version of the rules (see: below) then ask a staff member or decide on your own if you would see it in a PG-13 movie. [/li][li]03. No IC/OOC Crossing In its most simple definition, this means no being offended about what a character has done and trying to discredit the player, or taking what a player has done and trying to discredit the character. OOC information cannot be taken into IC situations, and vise-versa. If you have a problem with another member inform one of the staff and they will be more than happy to help mediate and try to resolve the problem peacefully. [/li][li]04. Limited Powerplaying If you are weak in-game then your character should not be powerful here on the forum. If you want to be a strong vampire in roleplay, then remember to play the DA (Dark Alleyway) game, and grow stronger there first. To help keep power playing in check, the power system was created. Please see: here for an in-depth explanation of the system. If you have any difficulties understanding how to roleplay, see here. You can also contact any member of the staff for help. [/li][li]05. Keep the Peace Harassment is illegal and will not be tolerated. Trolling or flaming, coming to the forum and posting in threads with the intentions of inciting a problem or causing an argument will also not be tolerated. This is a peaceful place and belligerent individuals are not welcome. Punishment will be handled on a case-by-case basis.[/li][/ul] SECONDARY RULES Primary rules are not as strict as the primary rules, but they are still rules that should not be broken. Each time you break a secondary rule you receive a half strike. You only have three strikes until you are banned, so it is best option to check with a staff member if you think you are breaking or may break a rule. RBRP has what is called a 1,000 character minimum. This means anything under 1,000 characters (letters, numbers, punctuation, symbols, etc -- not words) cannot be submitted for a post. It's not as scary as it sounds. Character minimum is merely here to ensure quality roleplay, and cheating the character minimum through any means is not tolerated. The character minimum for the Born Into Darkness board is set at 500, so that those who are new to roleplaying can ease into to the 1,000 minimum. You will not be able to post if you do not meet the minimum requirement. Again, if you are having any difficulty feel free to ask a member of the staff for help. [/li][li]02. Post in the Correct Areas In-character posts should go in the correct in-character section. In-game questions should go in the Game OOC board. Off Topic subjects should go in the Off Topic section, so on and so forth. If necessary threads will be moved to their proper area (or deleted) by a staff member, and though warnings are rarely given for such an offense, it is possible. [/li][li]03. Limit Signature Size (max 250 pixels high and 600 pixels wide) Please remember your signature is not a photo gallery or a lyrics board; it is merely a way for people to recognize your posts. each line of texts or empty space is equivalent to 10 pixels of height. Each time you increase the size of the text it also increases the height of your signature by another 10 pixels (example: 2 is the default size for text, so if you increase the text size to 3 your text is now 20 pixels high). [/li][li]04. Large Avatars, Colored Names, Personal Titles and Boards It is possible for non-staff members to have their own large avatars, colored names and personal titles. This can be done by donating $5 for each color, title and avatar. You can obtain your own private board by donating $30. All privileges are subject to administrator approval, and can be taken away by the administrator for any conduct unbecoming of a member of this site, to be determined by the site administrator. No refunds will be given. If you are not capable of donating real money but still want one of these things, send a message to a staff member and we may be able to work out an alternative. [/li][li]05. Display In-Game Names Put you In-Game Name (IGN) in either your signature or your personal text area. This is so that you can prove your in-game power for those who wish to see how strong your character is, so that they can behave accordingly. This is particularly handy for IC fights. Your IGN shouldn't be inside your signature image, and if it is without being posted in another area you will be warned. If you wish to play as a human, then the text "Human" needs to be included in either your signature or your personal text in place of an IGN. You may only use one IGN per account. There is no sharing of in-game names. [/li][li]06. In-Game Powers and Blood Ranks To help members determine the status of another character in roleplay, the site has a simple ranking system. Only characters with an IGN should have powers and blood ranks. [/li][li]07. Non-Playable Characters You are allowed to have Non-Playable Characters (NPCs). They are not, however, allowed to be sired. NPCs may not have their own separate account unless you make them a separate IGN, and make the NPC an entirely separate character. [/li][li]08. No Spamming You don't like spam email or telemarketers calling your house; do not spam here. PMing links to other forums or websites repeatedly to members who have expressed no desire to know the link, or to post a link more than once is spamming. The staff will allow one (1) link per website in the Off Topic board, but if there are repeats the post will be deleted and you will receive a warning for each link that was posted/PMed after the original post. You cannot put your posted link in your signature or personal text, so links leading directly to other forums or websites within your signature or personal text also breaks the spamming rule. [/li][li]09. Do Not Spam Your Biter Link Your biter link is what you send to a person at the completion of a siring thread. You should not post your biter link in threads on this site, or allow those with your biter link to give it out through PMs or instant messenger to people whom you haven't sired. Note: There is an option in your profile in the DA (Dark Alleyway) to disable your biter link, and it is advised to do so to prevent others from using it without your consent.[/li][/ul] SPECIFIC BOARD RULES Some boards have special rules applying to them, specifically the Born Into Darkness and Stranger Things Have Happened boards.
Born Into Darkness (for new players)- 01. Do not create more than one siring thread without closing your previous thread. To close the previous thread you simply modify the original post and change the title to include "Closed."
Born Into Darkness (for established players)- 01. You can only sire someone in the Born Into Darkness board if you have 7 or more in-game powers, where each level of each power counts as one of the seven (example: Celerity 1, Celerity 2 and Celerity 3 each count as one power). Neutrality and Battlecloak do not count toward the seven powers. Also, you must have at least 500 BP, be active on RBRP, and your name must also be on the siring list before you are able to sire anyone.
- 02. Unless the player asks OOC and it is agreed upon, there will be no forced sirings. Furthermore, if you wish to sire someone that person must agree first, either IC or OOC. The player has the choice of sires if there is more than one eligible sire in the thread. The player can also close the thread at any time, but if the human is inactive for over three weeks without any OOC communication the vampire may then choose to close the thread.
- 03. The maximum number of siring threads an eligible sire may participate in at one time is three.
- 04. After someone receives a strike or has gone through a temporary ban, they receive a certain amount of time where they are not allowed to sire. During this time notation will be made in the Siring List stating when they will be able to sire again.
Stranger Things Can Happen - This board is designed for players to pull their characters from their main story and use them in a completely different setting, even an alternate universe. Although this board is separate from the other boards on RBRP, all the rules of the other IC boards still apply here.

Primary and Secondary Rulesof RavenBlack Roleplay [Full Version] based on the rules established by site owner, Brittany (aka Shini Kan)The Purpose of this Post This post is to be a reference if and when someone crosses the line. When someone has done something wrong, they may refer here for clarification of their error. - Disrespecting a Staff Member
Every staff member is a volunteer. They take time out of their schedule to listen and help other members of the forum. They work hard to think of ways to make RBRP fun, both IC and OOC. They strive to make sure that every feels as though they are treated fairly. To disrespect a staff member is uncalled for, rude, and will not be tolerated. [/li][li] The Role of Moderators Moderators on this forum help spot problems and notify people if they are breaking a rule. Their job is to give out warnings and spot potential problems before they escalate out of control later on. If a member has a problem and the administrator is not online, a moderator is more than capable of helping you with your problem. Moderators cannot give out automatic strikes without the administrator's permission. Nor can they ban people, or warn for any of the primary rules. They can and will, however, report to the administrator if a primary rule is broken. [/li][li] The Role of the Admin When you feel that a moderator won't be able to help you with your problem, feel free to PM the administrator and ask for help. Do not do this because a member of the staff is enforcing the rules of the site; that is their job. You may report a staff member if you feel they are allowing personal opinions to cloud their judgement. Staff members are encouraged to work as a team about everything, but there are some powers that are only appropriate for the administrator to wield. An admin is the only person on the staff who can give out automatic strikes and makes the final decision about hiring new moderator's and banning members. *At this point in time, the owner of RBRP (Brittany, aka Shini Kan) also has the power of administrator*[/li][li] The Difference Between PRIMARY and SECONDARY Rules Primary rules are very simple and easy to find, since they are the first rules listed. These rules are not flexible and there are no exceptions. This applies to all members of the forum, including the administrator and staff. There are no excuses for such behavior. All primary rules broken are worth an automatic strike on your record. Secondary rules are dealt with a little more flexibility, so breaking a secondary rule is worth half a strike. However, if you break a secondary rule enough times you will be subject to banning. After three strikes you will be banned, so if you break a secondary rule six times you will be banned. Any of the moderators have the power to give out a warning on any of the secondary rules. If you ever feel that a warning was given to you unfairly you are more than welcome to contact the admin or the staff member that gave you the warning. Civil Behavior is required if you choose to PM a staff member or admin about your warning/strike. Out Of Character insults is one of the primary rules and you will be given a strike for such an offense; it’s not worth getting upset and insulting a staff member because you don’t agree with a warning/strike you have received. The first time someone breaks a rule, primary or secondary, that member will be trusted to fix the rule they have broken by themselves; a week will be allotted to fix said problem. If you ignore an admin or staff member’s advice, after your allotted week is up, then certain posts might be removed or the offending matter can be changed manually. If you continue to defy an admin or a staff member and are just doing it to prove a point or to annoy the staff, the admin will ban you. If you ever notice someone breaking a primary or secondary rule please don’t PM them personally. There is staff here for a reason and a heads up to them is the best you can do to help. [/li][li] Banning Getting banned from this site is a very simple process. You get three (3) strikes total. Three strikes and you're out. Breaking a primary rule results in an automatic strike, and breaking a secondary rule results in a warning. Two warnings are the equivalent of one strike. After one strike you are temporarily banned for two (2) days and may not participate in a new siring thread for a month. After the second strike you are banned for five (5) days and may not participate in a new siring thread for two months. After the third (3rd) strike and depending on the severity of the strike, you will either have a temporary ban for a month and may not sire until the staff says you may, or a permanent ban. We understand though that no one is perfect and people are capable of making mistakes, therefore as a reprieve for good behavior you will earn an anti-strike for each category as follows:[/li][/ul] - 1st anti-strike after 3 months of no bad behavior.
- 2nd anti-strike after 6 months of no bad behavior.
- 3rd anti-strike after 1 year of no bad behavior.

PRIMARY RULES Primary rules are the hard lines that cannot be broken in any manner. No ifs, ands or buts. If any of the primary rules are broken, the members involved will receive an automatic strike. Punishment will be carried out by the administrator. - 01. No Deliberate OOC (Out of Character/Real Life) Insults
You should never purposefully insult a real life person on this forum or anywhere else because of something pertaining to DA. If you’ve been insulted in PM (private messaging) a screenshot must be given to one of the staff along with your complaint. There is a difference between deliberate and accidental insults, as well as insults that are more criticism, or playful jokes. Example: Deliberate Insult: “You are a stupid, brainless, little ugly prick who should go kill yourself.”This is unacceptable, and depending on the severity of the insult you may just get a strike or you can be banned immediately (although the latter is unlikely). If you are given a strike and repeat the action once more you’ll be banned. Remember that once you are banned you cannot come back. Accidental Insult: “Don’t be stupid, of course I’ll roleplay with you.” OR “You’re a cool guy.” (When they are actually a girl) These types of insults are seldom actually purposeful, and as such, will usually be ignored. Constructive Criticism: “Your roleplay is good, but you need to work on your power-playing.” OR “Do you really think that your character should be as powerful as they are? I mean, they only have 200 blood! Jeez!”This kind of criticism might be taken to heart as an insult, but it’s not intended that way. It is good for people to point out the mistakes of others in a polite constructive way, otherwise we never learn, and we never know what we are doing wrong if it’s not brought to our attention. If you think someone could use some constructive criticism but don't feel you can present it in a non-confrontational way, feel free to PM a staff member and we will do our best Playful Joke: It’s difficult to give a playful joke compared to an actual insult. The staff can usually tell when somebody is joking and when they are just being an ass. Remember, some jokes that you find funny might be hurtful to another person. Admins will use their judgment to deal with this kind of insult. [/li][li]02. Explicit Content This site is hosted by Proboards, therefore there are certain basic rules we have to enforce to keep the site form being shut down. The most important rule is that the site must maintain a PG-13 status (or at least under "R"). Proboards imposes the following restrictions on all sites in regards to content: User’s website may not contain content promoting the use of illegal drugs, alcohol, sex, pornography, nudity, or any other form of adult content, profanity, hate, “spam,” fraud, racism, mlm, pyramid schemes, or promote any illegal activity.
Hopefully the following clarifies and defines what level of roleplay is acceptable under the PG-13 restriction. The Motion Picture Association defined PG-13 limits as follows: A PG-13 film is one which, in the view of the rating board, leaps beyond the boundaries of the of the3 PG rating in theme, violence, nudity, sensuality, language, or other contents, but does not quite fit within the restricted R category. If nudity is sexually oriented, the film will generally not be found in the PG-13 category. If violence is too rough or persistent, the film goes into the R (restricted) rating. A film’s single use of one of the harsher sexually derived words, though only as an expletive, shall initially require the Rating Board to issue that film at least a PG-13 rating. More than one such expletive must lead the Rating Board to issue a film an R rating, as must even one of these words used in a sexual context. These films can be rated less severely, however, if by a special vote, the Rating Board feels that a lesser rating would more responsibly reflect the opinion of American parents NOTE: Please see this thread for more detail. [/li][li]03. IC/OOC Crossing There will be no OOC/IC, or vice versa, crossing of any kind. Not everyone you roleplay with will do something you agree with OOC, or do something you agree with IC. Accepting that and moving past it will save everyone a lot of grief. IC Crossing Example: A character does something that hits a nerve and pisses you off, so you decide to IM/PM the player and start causing problems OOC. (This is unacceptable and you will be given a strike for such an offense.) Not IC Crossing Example: Someone’s character may do something that you do not like and you continue to roleplay with the person, using your character to play out his/her dislike for the action. OOC Crossing Example: You have a fight with another player OOC and decide to get revenge by attacking them IG or destroying something precious to their character in roleplay. (This is unacceptable and you will be given a strike for such an offense.) Not IC Crossing Example: You have a fight with another player OOC and continue to roleplay with them, being the bigger person and making sure the fight doesn’t affect your character. Note: When dealing in other mediums, such as Yahoo, AIM, Yahoo group, or another forum it is recommended you inform everyone whether or not you’re IC or not and identify when you change.[/li][/ul]

Because powerplaying has many different forms, these are the basic and the most common forms of Power-playing.[/li][/ul] - Controlling another character without permission: Unless a player has already moved their character you should only be writing your own part. Never describe another person’s actions unless you have permission and you are allowed to move another character. This goes for their NPCs as well.
The description of another character’s thoughts, touching something that is physically on another character’s body, and removing some sort of limb falls under powerplaying as well. Reading minds does not fit under any power source or form of telepathy between vampires on Ravenblack Roleplay. The ability to hear their thoughts should only be allowed if you have the written consent of the character that is thinking or has internal voices. There is no leniency on this rule and any case of mind reading is in fact powerplaying unless consent is given.
- This is not a free-form roleplay site:
This forum is based entirely on RavenBlack's "The Dark Alleyway" game, and without this game there would be no roleplaying site. RavenBlack Roleplay should be used to bring your In-Game Character to life in a setting you can write out, give a name a face and a personality. Because the game has powers that means there are limitations on powers. If your character has no powers and almost no blood points you shouldn’t be playing a super powerful character that can destroy the world. No matter what a character may be, keep in mind that the power you have in the game is the power you have in role-play. [/li][li] You should take all battles to the game: If someone is talking crap about your character IC and you and your character believe your character is better than his or her character, you should take that into the actual game and roleplay the outcome of the battle in the thread. But if your character can’t prove anything, and your character is nothing, your character will be treated as such in roleplay. (Any mistreatment OOC bout said battle is considered Crossing and should reported to the staff with proof of said harassment)Don’t want to be knocked around? Then the best advice is to become stronger in the actual game. Then you can be the super powered character you already dreamed about having. If you RP your fight out and both parties powerplay, there’s nothing any of the staff can do until one of the parties complains. After one of the staff receives this complaint the entire thread will be examined and all parties will receive a strike for powerplaying if all parties are guilty. [/li][li] Other powers found in the game are acceptable: You are free to use your imagination here, but keep in mind that those powers must be linked to the powers you have in-game and if you are unsure ask someone on the staff to get more help when it comes to deciding if it’s linked properly to your in game powers. Your powers should always reflect your in-game character’s power. This means if you only have Shadows 1 you can’t successfully hide from someone with Shadows 2 or 3. Just remember, if someone is playing a god just ignore them, report them to a staff member for it to be handled, unless you want to take it to the game to settle it there. [/li][li] You are allowed to play something non-human when you start out: In regards to roleplaying a character who doesn’t exist in game, such as a werewolf, angel, demon or some other type of ethereal being, that’s fine. Just understand that in-game you will be listed as a vampire no matter what and we can not change that fact. But in roleplay you can be whatever you wish to be, just don’t play someone super powerful if you can’t back it up in the game. Note: If you choose to be something other than a full-blooded vampire don’t expect everyone’s complete respect IC. However, if someone insults you OOC about your character contact a staff member immediately. [/li][li] Participating in a thread with ongoing powerplaying: There are some instances where characters can participate in a thread happily with excess powerplay and that’s great. But if halfway through the thread someone decides to complain, the complaint will be ignored. If there is consensual powerplaying, you must make your boundaries clear right from the beginning. [/li][li]05. Keep the Peace We promote a friendly, open-discussion environment. With that being said, everyone here is entitled to their opinion and to give input on any subjects raised. However rudeness, cutting and possibly offensive sarcasm (even if it is unintentional) is not acceptable. There are polite ways to present ideas and criticism without being overbearing and rude. What a member intends with a given OOC post is irrelevant; it's how it comes across that matters. This applies to all members, at all times without exception. If a discussion gets heated, we advise you to take a step back, clear your head and then return to the discussion. The two behaviors popularly known as "trolling" or "flaming" will not be tolerated. If any member of the forum begins to behave in such a way, we ask that everyone else cease posting to the thread in question and immediately report it to a member of the staff, along with a screenshot of the text. The administration will handle it accordingly. Worth particular mention is that in order to comment and participate in discussions about the IC/RP aspects of the forum, it is required that a member be consistently active in such activities. If a member doesn't roleplay here then truly they don't have much in the way of rights to comment (especially negatively, yet positive contributions are always welcome) on that aspect of this forum. The consequences for those breaking the peace will be handled on a case by case basis by the administrator and staff, and includes the possibility of banning. To avoid that, please keep your discussions polite and civil, and if you question whether or not something you are about to post may offend someone then it is simply better not to post it at all.[/li][/ul] SECONDARY RULES RBRP has what is called a 1,000 character minimum. Anyone, however, is welcome to politely let the poster know that they have posted in the incorrect area. [/li][li]03. Limit Signature Size (max 250 pixels high and 600 pixels wide) You have made a fabulous character sheet, but you need a signature to put a face to that personality. You can either make your own, or go here and politely ask for help from one of our talented signature artists. Please remember your signature is not a photo gallery or a lyrics board; it is merely a way for people to recognize your posts. each line of texts or empty space is equivalent to 10 pixels of height. Each time you increase the size of the text it also increases the height of your signature by another 10 pixels (example: 2 is the default size for text, so if you increase the text size to 3 your text is now 20 pixels high). This secondary rule was put in place to prevent interruption of role-play, slowing down load times, and preventing the annoyance large signatures can cause other people. Just keep in mind that the signature area isn’t a place for making full-sized pictures of your character. If you break this secondary rule you will receive a PM about it and a warning will be put on your record. Every player is given a week to comply and fix their signature; refusal to comply will result in more action taken against you. Example: Your signature image may be removed from your signature for you. A staff member may resize your signature image or a replacement image may be replaced by your image, and you may not like the replacement.[/li][/ul]

- 04. Large Avatars, Colored Names, Personal Titles and Boards
It is possible for non-staff members to have their own large avatars, colored names and personal titles. This can be done by donating $5 for each color, title and avatar. You can obtain your own private board by donating $30. The donation button is at the top of the page, under the site link drop down menu. This is the donation for this forum (RBRP), which goes to its owner, Brittany. It is not the donation that goes to Dark Alleyway and will not give you any powers IG, it will only give you what is listed below. The creator of the game, Dark Alleyways, is RavenBlack and if you would like to donate him you’ll have to find the donation link to him in the actual game if you would like to donate to get powers. All privileges are subject to administrator approval, and can be taken away by the administrator for any conduct unbecoming of a member of this site, to be determined by the site administrator. No refunds will be given. If you are not capable of donating real money but still want one of these things, send a message to a staff member and we may be able to work out an alternative.[/li][/ul] What do I get for donating? If you donate $5 you will be able to choose one of the following:- 01. Customize your avatar size:
The site’s default size is usually 100x100 pixels, but if you donate you may have an avatar put on the image list that can be a maximum size of 160 wide x 300 tall. If you look at my avatar you’ll see an example of what it could like. If you need help making one you can go to the Signature Requests for help making one. [/li][li]02. Customize your title: This will replace your current position on the board, for example “Forum staff,” “Newbie,” or something else. This title may be anything you wish, so long as it doesn’t contain the words “moderator” or “admin.” [/li][li]03. Customize your name color: You may also choose to have your name colored, as long as the color has not been chosen by one of the other members that have chosen to donate as well. Look here to choose which color you would like to use.[/li][/ul][/blockquote] But, because we're cool around here, we'll cut you a buy two get one free deal, so you can have all three powers for a grand total of $10 US.How can I get my own private board? Donating for your own private board costs $30 dollars, mainly due to the amount of coding and time it takes to create it. These boards can be used for the creation of your own clans, somewhere for your bloodlines to RP privately, or somewhere for you to invite personal friends and have some old fashioned RP fun. These boards can be password protected or open to the public, you may also have up to THREE sub boards, and be the moderator to your own board. You may also choose two other people to be a moderator to this board with you; this allows you to delete, edit, and create any posts you like. These boards are not exempt from RBRP rules and you can, and will, be warned/striked for rule breaking material found there by an admin.
If you choose to donate for your own Private Board you will also get a custom title, custom color, and custom avatar.
Inactivity of a Private Board
If your board is unused for 30 days or more your board will be moved into storage to clear unused parts of this site from sight. If at a later date you would like to have the board moved back into public view you must send a request to one of the admin and you will be given a 14-day probation to produce an active board to be allowed to keep it in public view. If, during your 14-day probation, your board goes into inactivity once more you will be charged $5 USD to have it taken back out from storage and given another 14-day probation. This is done to make sure someone won’t continue letting their board go into inactivity several times.
You will not lose your custom color, custom title, or large avatar if your board goes inactive. Is there another way to earn a private board? Yes. If you would like to have a clan or bloodline board and can produce 15 different IGNs from 15 different members already signed up at RBRP then you may have your own sub-board.
If the board goes inactive you will lose your custom color, custom title, and custom avatar if you did not already donate for them, as well as having to go through the steps listed above if you wish to have the board back.
As with buying in-game powers there are no refunds and the admin have the right to refuse to accept donations from anyone, so please consider your options carefully before donating.
Note: People with already existing boards, large avatars, or custom title given out by previous admins do not owe the owner anything. However the new rules for boards do apply. DISCLAIMER: All privileges subject to Administrator approval. No refunds will be given. Privileges can be taken away by Admins for any conduct unbecoming of a member of this site, to be determined by the site Administrator. You are paying for a privilege. Not a right, service or product of any kind, and therefore all privileges can be taken away temporarily or permanently at Admin discretion. All prices listed before are to be considered in US (United States) Dollars. - 05. Display In-Game Names
Put you In-Game Name (IGN) in either your signature or your personal text area. Remember to display your EXACT IGN once you’re a vampire. This includes the CoRrEcT cAsInG of your in-game name. If the staff find any mistakes in the spelling of a players IGN, or the character has died completely in game, the player will be given a week to correct their IGN before a warning is given a second time, and then they’ll be given another week. [/li][li]05. Display In-Game Statistics In-game details should be displayed in the provided fields in a members mini profile. If you need help calculating your in-game powers, please contact one of the staff members; they will be more than happy to help you figure out what your power rank is. If you are a human your power rank and blood ranks is 0 or N/A, and if your character is just recently turned your powers and blood rank will start at 0. For powers you get 1 point for every 1 power you have, not counting Neutrality nor Battlecloak as powers. You can earn a maximum 3 points for every power, 1 point for each of the levels available per leveled power. The powers without different levels are worth 2 points. For example, Second Sight is 2 points. NOTE: See this thread for full details. If you believe that you’re stronger than someone else you are free to take your fight into the game itself. This is encouraged, to prove you are indeed better. It should be noted that the In game power system does not factor in warrior status, bloodline, or clan. These are things you will have to deal with it they wish to take it into the game. For roleplay, if a member or members decided not to take it IG then OOC confirmation needs to be given over who wins and what can be done to the characters. If a fight takes place and no confirmation was given this can be considered powerplay. If you do not like this rule you are free to roleplay anywhere else. This is not a free form roleplaying site and no one is forced to roleplay. Please understand that if you cause problems here actions will be taken.[/li][/ul]

- 07. Non-Playable Characters
You are allowed to have Non-Playable Characters (NPCs). They are not, however, allowed to sire or to be sired on the BiD board. NPCs may not have their own separate account unless you make them a separate IGN, and make the NPC an entirely separate character. Fighting with an NPC must have OOC permission from who ever is involved within the fight. A NPC can only be as powerful as predefined. No NPC can be considered fully powered unless it has been decided beforehand. [/li][li]08. No Spamming You don't like spam email or telemarketers calling your house; do not spam here. PMing links to other forums or websites repeatedly to members who have expressed no desire to know the link, or to post a link more than once is spamming. You are allowed to post links to other sites as lone as they’re not related to any adult related forums or sites.
- 02. If someone hasn’t posted in your thread you are free to delete that post and start a new one. If someone has posted in your thread, please don’t delete all of your posts. All you need to do is ‘close’ the thread.
Keep in mind that if your character hasn’t been sired yet you can make a post in the Game OOC section and get tips to see if something could be done to fix it.
The new players came to this site and it’s not fair if a vampire comes to this site, sires someone, and leaves them to RP here without help. These requirements are set to prevent newbies from siring newbies and so new members can find sires who know what they’re doing. All vampires should respect a human’s decision when it comes down to who and what they want for a sire. You can give your biter-link to those people through your own webpage or other forums (if they allow it). We can only prevent the siring of those newbies on RBRP. Stranger Things Can Happen - This board is designed for players to pull their characters from their main story and use them in a completely different setting, even an alternate universe. Although this board is separate from the other boards on RBRP, all the rules of the other IC boards still apply here.
If you have any further questions about the rules please feel free to contact a member of the staff for further details.
